As of 9am Friday 30th September we have raised a total of £4,067.50 of our £35,000 target. This has enabled us to enrol the first 2 of the 22 young adults we are aiming to enrol onto our 18 month 'Life Changer Mentoring Programme'.

Here they will receive the support they need to help them to create new lives, free from the anxieties of their past and with a clear plan for their future.

With sufficient 1-2-1 and group support in specialist areas, such as behavioural change, training and mentoring, they will make significant progress.

If only 10 of those 22 people do not return to crime, which is way below our average, then that will mean a saving to the UK tax payer alone, of around £500,000 which is 14.3 times bigger than the £35,000 this work will cost and that's for every year they don't return to prison too.

The difference we can make

Studies show that children who have at least one parent (or adult role model) in prison or involved in criminal activity are more likely to normalize their behavior and risk taking the same route in their own lives. With your help we can help break that cycle.

We still want to raise another £30,932.50 so that we can enrol the next 20 people, so...
