Back from The Highlands

Well I'm back from my walk in the highlands of Scotland and am happy to say that I completed the 154 km with a smile still intact and some not inconsiderable blisters to show for all the fun I had walking up and down the hills, mountains, rocks and streams. So far, our fundraiser for The West Highland Way walk has raised £1,220 and is still accepting donations until Friday 14th July to allow people to support us still.

'Grow your tenner' returns on Tuesday 18th October

Each October, LocalGiving, which is the fundraising platform that we use for one off and monthly donations, runs their 'Grow you tenner' campaign.

GYT - the facts:

• The campaign kicks off at 10am on Tuesday 18th October 2016 and closes when the match fund runs out or at 5pm on Thursday the 17th November 2016 (whichever comes first).

• During the campaign, one off donations made to The RWF via Localgiving will be matched by up to £10; as will Direct Debits by up to £10 a month for the first 3 months.

Attitude...

Attitude is such an important thing to get right in any and every situation that we are in and yet, it's the exact area that so many people fail to do their best in. You could say that some people appear to go out of their way to make things worse for themselves by having a negative, bad or destrcutive attitude.
